Although printing on textiles is gaining more and more popularity, in one area it cannot match printed vinyl. Due to the available material widths, backlight vinyl printing works well with large size media and wherever the rigidity and mechanical strength of the face are important. Backlit media for vinyl prints are usually made of a Bleed profile frame. The profile provides high strength of the frame to the forces created by the taut front. This allows the construction of boxes of very large sizes, as well as boxes with irregular shapes and channel letters.
