Why choose acrylic decorations?
Plexiglas (in other words: methyl methacrylate, PMMA or customary acrylic) is a material that is easily processed. The low melting point makes it an ideal material for CO2 laser cutting. The advantages of this treatment are primarily smooth and uniform edge quality after cutting (with gloss). Thanks to the small diameter of the laser beam, the possibility of cutting curves with very small radii. During processing, the material does not tremble or shift, which allows you to cut very small elements. Plexiglas laser cutting, thanks to the numerical control technology, is also highly (although outgoing CNC machining) precise in terms of dimensional tolerance. Modern cutting devices guarantee cutting precision of +/- 0.02 to 0.1 mm.
