CNC milling is a commonly used method of processing composites and plastics. It is performed with the help of an innovative CNC machining centre, which guarantees full precision of work and allows you to perform even the most complex tasks at a relatively low cost.

CNC machining of plastics requires adjusting the temperature at which milling is performed to the specificity of a given material, which is determined, among others, by the type of polymer used. The optimal temperature is determined on the basis of the properties of the plastic used – the correct rotational speed reduces the risk of too high heating. For proper machining, you will need equipment with helical cutters for safe operation and an effective dust extraction system that can handle the large amount of chips produced. Providing appropriate conditions for milling plastics requires the experience of the person operating the machine.

Dibond is a composite material (ACP) consisting of a polyethylene core and aluminium linings. Aluminium can be powder coated, it can also be decorated with decor (e.g. brushing effect). May meet non-flammability standards. Due to the composite structure, dibond is a light and rigid material. CNC machining can involve cutting, creasing and engraving. Advertising and construction companies (in architecture) are the most common recipients of CNC dibond milling services.
